Music is the apple-seed of the Planted by the Water organization and for most of us here (@ PBTW)… we spend a good part of each day either writing, performing, recording or just listening to it.
To quote Bob Marley “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain”.
While we don’t need an audience to get our creative juices going (we are quite happy to sing and play for our own enjoyment) it remains an immense pleasure and honor to share our musical gifts with others, when and where ever possible. We have recorded quite a bit of music over the years so that can listen and enjoy. You could even close your eyes and pretend that we are sitting right next to you strumming and singing, no matter where you are… in your car, in the local cafe, in your living room or in a space shuttle hurtling towards outer-space.
We have great plans to record several new music projects in 2018, ones that underscore the goings on, in and around our events. But for the mean time, we have selected a few collections that might help you in your current journey.
If you like ‘mystical instrumental music’ you might enjoy “For Dreamer’s Only”. If your preference is for an acoustic style Hymnal-Worship experience then perhaps you will enjoy “One Moment”. If you like acoustic-gospel music then you might enjoy “Rescue Me”. Or, if your soul needs a lift and you feel like tapping your foot, check out “You Got Wings”.
Or… you might just want to listen to “This is Our Time”… a simple prayer song, based on the poetry of the Desert Father’s of the 6th century. It’s about letting go of old wounds and disappointments in the hope that ‘our true identity rises above it all.’
